Discussion of modular classroom layout and visit to location of installation.  Discussion over color.  Decision over what classes to move to modular still underway with likelihood that is will be in K-5 grades.  Modular classrooms should have better technology, likely with smart-boards, and hopefully with a dedicated laptop cart.  They will be air conditioned.  To some degree class decision will be impacted by override since passage will determine classroom staffing.

Dr. Brown reviewed the hiring needs for next year, both with and without an override.  Some new staffing, such as ELL teachers, psychologist, and special education support (from .5 to 1.0 FTE) will occur with or without an override.  Additional staffing with an override could include maintaining 4 sections in fifth grade, additional psychology support, an additional math specialist, ECS and OT support.
