Discussion about teacher and parent survey results and major themes.

Major survey take-aways were frustration over potential relocation of students, concern over a lack of challenge for students, particularly in the higher grades, and a lack of information in higher grades, especially on teacher conferences.  There were also concerns about communication and about the building being tired and more run down.  It was noted that Baker, unlike most of the other schools, does not use a cleaning service.

Tim raised some concerns about equity in staffing at Baker, especially in ETS and library relative to other schools.

Dr. Brown reviewed some of the potential additional hires for 2015-2016:  psychologists and/or guidance, math and literacy specialists, special ed teachers, classroom teachers (potentially 1st, 2nd and 8th grade teachers.

Tim raised whether attending the 7-8th grade at Old Lincoln School next year.  To date there was no directive from the School Department to market OLS to Baker parents in the relevant grades.
