Discussion about location of modulars. With much uncertainty about the actual plan and location of the classrooms, it appears two portables will be on line by September and consolidations based on insufficient classrooms will not be needed. It appears as though the location will not be the parking lot.
Discussion about the growth in various classes during the year.
Discussion about goals for site council with SIP and handbook updates being the most important.
A discussion about the capacity in the library and computer space took place. Tim noted equity issues are presented around the current resources for Baker
Equity on smaller versus bigger schools. Discussion about IT instruction. Discussion about library use: K-4 every week, 5th grade every other week, 6th grade weekly and 7th and 8th grade by appointment.
